Stacie Turner personifies 21st century businesswoman – multi-faceted, entrepreneurial and connected. A busy real estate executive and cast member of the Real Housewives of DC, Turner balances her successful career with her dedication to the community.

The first in her family to graduate from college, Stacie obtained her undergraduate degree in Finance from Howard University, and a MBA from the Harvard University Graduate School of Business (HBS '96). Stacie has held positions in marketing and management with a number of large corporations including Procter & Gamble, the Sprint Corporation and BET Networks. Subsequently, she acted on a longtime desire to be an entrepreneur—forming two successful ventures. The first, a strategic marketing consulting firm called The Turner Group where she attained an extensive client roster across a variety of industries. As her life priorities shifted to family with the birth of her son, Stacie launched a real estate sales and development firm called Brickstone Ventures to capitalize on the rising real estate market in the city. Stacie quickly became a top producing residential sales agent with Long and Foster Real Estate Inc. and Sotheby's International Realty with nearly $200 million in career sales.

In 2009, further Stacie increased her profile and platform for doing good works, by agreeing to join the cast of the hit Bravo Network television franchise, "The Real Housewives" which was creating a new show based on the lives of high profile women in Washington, DC. While reality TV is certainly a risk for most, Stacie saw television as a unique marketing platform to broaden awareness of her business and philanthropic efforts. It's working out well: the show's first season garnered the second highest ratings in the history of the Bravo franchise.

While Stacie has enjoyed substantial success in business, she has always maintained a passionate civic interest in the lives of children in her community. Stacie was born in DC foster care, but was fortunate to be adopted by loving parents and grow up in a stable, nurturing household. Recognizing this tremendous advantage, she founded Extra-Ordinary Life (www.extra-ordinarylife.org) to provide the type of exposure and opportunities that inspired her to dream and achieve; to young girls currently managing life alone in DC foster care. This past July, Stacie took 8 foster teen girls to South Africa during the historic FIFA 2010 World Cup. BET Networks chronicled the girls amazing journey of discovery in a documentary, entitled "Extra-Ordinary Life: Journey to South Africa" that has aired in 54 countries (i.e. Africa, Europe, the Middle East and the US).

Given her work with foster youth, Stacie was recently named a National Children's Ambassador for the American Humane Association. However, she has always maintained a passionate civic interest in the lives of children and in the community. She served as a board member of Metro Teen-AIDS; the Board of Trustees for Southeastern University and as a Mayoral Appointee to the National Capital Planning Commission (NCPC). Stacie is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and Jack and Jill of America.
